Dr. Rachel Greenberg is a licensed trauma-informed Clinical Psychologist, Couples Therapist, & Teacher offering seekers from all over the world empowerment & relational practices inspired by various psychological and spiritual traditions. She’s passionate about personal and collective justice and liberation. She engages in local activism to deepen conscious engagement with the intricacies that compose our identities. She’s been active in a Bay Area based Coalition of Sacred Activists Based in Buddhism & Feminine Mystery Knowledge & also served on the leadership team for a local Questioning Cultural Conditioning mindfulness discussion sangha and served as Co-Chair on The Wright Institute’s Integrated Health Psychology Training Program’s Diversity Committee which trained doctoral psychology students in an interdisciplinary setting. She’s the Founder of The Numinous Path, her psycho-spiritual practice for Whole Self Healing & Transformation.
She’s earned two master’s degrees and a doctorate in clinical psychology. She’s influenced by her academic pursuits and rigorous clinical training in addition to her own series of profound spiritual awakenings and embodied emotional healings.
In addition to nearly 20 years of academic and clinical training in psychology, she incorporates principles from Eastern and Spiritual approaches to healing. Dr. Rachel is most strongly influenced by Buddhist psychology and is trained by Spirit Rock Insight Meditation Center. Her work is infused with her immersive studies in Buddhist psychology training and the meditation practices that clarify our minds, cultivate basic goodness in our hearts, and transform patterns that perpetuate suffering.
Dr. Rachel is also notably influenced by Internal Family Systems, Imago Theory, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. With additional inspiration from Intersectional Feminist Theory, Nonviolent Communication, & Depth Psychology.
Her passion for working with couples is rooted in the belief that deep connection and intimacy are the foundation of thriving relationships. She is continually expanding her expertise through ongoing education in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a proven approach that helps couples create secure emotional bonds. In addition, she’s immersed in teacher training with John Wineland, where she explores the power of presence, masculine and feminine dynamics, sexual polarity, and conscious leadership in relationships. Her goal is to guide couples in transforming their connection, fostering trust, and building lasting love.
Healing Back To Wholeness is Dr. Rachel’s comprehensive digital course and community-based program for anyone ready to heal childhood wounding and recover their authentic self. The course is a deep dive into healing practices to direct an awakened and heart-centered life. Dr. Rachel also offers a self-study course called Connected that teaches students how to create authentic and secure relationships. Dr. Rachel lives in the hills of Northern California where she devotes herself to her own process of healing and awakening through the enrichment of her ever-evolving practices. She spends time connecting to the land, meditating, feeling, practicing embodiment and sexual polarity, studying, writing, connecting to her community, and supporting her patients, clients, and students to know & love themselves more deeply.
